UPDATE! So I gave pagemodo a shot and had a pretty good layout going. Then I clicked the save link and discovered that my session was over. A bunch of work was erased. So, pagemodo has the right idea but even in beta the system should be saving work as you go along. Don't think I will be recommending this till that gets worked out.
